About Our Wooden Dining Tables

Our Story

When two experienced carpenters struggled to find dining tables that met their standards, they started their own workshop. Beginning with a small rental unit in Coventry, they hand-built and sold their first rustic-style wooden dining table in 2008.

Word of their dedication to quality craftsmanship spread over the years, and Dasune grew into the respected dining table manufacturer it is today. We now offer a wide range of wooden table designs while staying true to our founders’ original vision.

Our Workshop

Our main workshop is still in Coventry, where we first began handmaking wooden dining tables.

Our facility contains a mix of modern woodworking equipment guided by experienced hands and areas dedicated to time-honoured techniques. You’ll find lathes for turning legs, hand planes for finishing, and sturdy benches for joinery. We believe blending updated tools with traditional crafts is the best way to build great dining furniture.

Our tables and benches start as raw lumber which we machine and mill on-site. Our artisans then transform these pieces into finished products with meticulous care and attention to detail. Every day we strive to produce work we can be proud of.

Our Team

Our crew spans generations, from apprentices learning the trade to veteran woodworkers passing on decades of knowledge. Together, they make the Dasune difference.

Our most tenured carpenter has been crafting dining tables with us for over 20 years. He leads a team of furniture makers, joiners, lathe turners, finishers, and polishers – each an artisan in their role.

We also have passionate young apprentices gaining hands-on training they can’t get in school. Guiding the next generation of British furniture makers is deeply important to us.

With seasoned experience and youthful energy, our tight-knit crew shares a commitment to skill, quality, and service. We couldn’t craft heirloom dining tables without them.
